About
lauralaura

Legend has it that I was born on the fourth floor of the Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, March of 1958. I started growing in the delta lands of Arkansas and transplanted myself to Alabama where my mother's family raised their children.

Now I live in California where there are no fireflies and you have to ask for whole milk for your coffee. I find things at flea markets, thrift stores and the Last Change Mercantile that speak to me of people and times passed and passing. At present I have two old typewriters, a turntable and an assortment of abandoned baby dolls and a few old board games in the trunk of my car. I collect, re-assemble and listen.
